Still more from December 2009

Me, Zoë and Pam

Daddy's girl

The entire extended family on my mom's side.

I can't even remember the last time we all were together for a photo. So nice to be with my parents and all of my brothers and their families again!

The Fountain cousins

Zoë with her cousin Daphni who is 3 1/2 weeks older than her, but still much smaller (she was supposed to be a month younger)

Funny cold weather suit

Mamma/Baby lunch. These women were all in my pre-natal water aerobics class. Our babies were born within a month of each other. Zoë is the oldest.

Zoë is 2 Months Old!!!

Can't believe 2 months has passed already! Zoë has been such a blessing to us and we are loving watching her grow every day. She is very observant when she is awake and responds to people by smiling and laughing. She's so cute! Her favorite toys are her glow worm (thanks Grandma and Grandpa) and a Laugh and Learn toy that plays a variety of songs.

Computer Crash

We haven't had a home computer since the last post a month ago. I'm using Aaron's parents computer today to try to get some new photos up and will hopefully have a new computer at home in the next week or two. More updates to come once we have it up and running!

Zoë is 1 Month Old!!!

Time is flying by and Zoë is already a month old. Here's a picture of her with her stuffed doggy from Nicole (Reggie wouldn't stay still for the photo). A friend gave me the idea to put her next to the same stuffed animal each month to make for easier comparison (thanks Liza!). Zoë has been such a blessing to us and we feel so fortunate to have such a healthy, sweet, and easy going baby. She spends most of her time sleeping, but is very alert when she is awake (for a total of about 8 hours a day). This morning, she and I had a fun session of playing - she is starting to try to imitate and has given me some good smiles, surprised looks, and coos.

A Week With Grandma Andrea

Mom and Dad came down for the weekend and Mom decided to stay for the whole week to help us out. She did TONS of cooking, cleaning, diaper changing and snuggling! Thanks so much Mom! Here are some pictures from the time they were here:

Zoë is 2 Weeks Old!

Zoë does lots of accidental smiles that are so cute! Can't wait 'till she does them on purpose :)

Such a sweetie!

This pose reminds me of a teenager who's being difficult to drag out of bed. Don't miss the cool hair style!

Little munchkin.

Full belly - just lounging.

Clean and cozy after a bath.

Bright eyes!

Zoë Meets Family and Friends

Zoë had a busy week of meeting a few family members and some friends she will be growing up with.

Zoë with Aunt Kelsey. Kelsey also has a new baby, Daphni, who is 3 weeks older than Zoë. We are so excited that the cousins will grow up together!

Zoë with Great Grandma Nancy

Uncle Benny and Aunt Sabrina drove over from Portland for a quick visit to meet Zoë. She can't wait to see them again at Christmas!

Many of our friends have either just had babies or are pregnant. It will be so fun to watch all of the kids get to know each other and become great friends! In this picture are two of Aaron's friends (Joe and Tim) and their boys (both Jack) who are 9 months old and 6 weeks old.

Jen is a friend and roomate of mine from college. She was in town visiting family and brought her little Lucas (8 weeks old) by to meet Zoë.

Such a Great Daddy!

Aaron has been doing such an awesome job with Zoë! She is so lucky to have such a loving and attentive daddy!

He's also been making sure Reggie and Zoë get along and Reggie doesn't get deprived of attention.

Daddy's Little Girl!

This was the day we came home from the hospital. Zoë was taking her first nap in her crib and Aaron went to lie down in our room. He wasn't able to sleep there, so he moved out to the hallway so he could hear her if she woke up. He passed out within seconds of lying down :)

Zoë is 1 Week Old!!!

This week has really flown by and we are having so much fun getting to know our little girl. She is doing so great and we are happy to say the transition has been going smoothly. Zoë has gained enough weight that the doctor says we can let her sleep as long as she wants during the night (instead of waking her every 3 hours to eat). We love snuggling with her, taking her on walks, watching her accidental smiles and listening to her little squeaks (we call her Flipper because of these sounds).

Reggie is also adjusting well to our new addition. As you can see in this picture he is very happy! He is already very protective of Zoë and likes to sit by my feet during middle of the night feedings.

Such a peaceful little face.

Zoë's first bath at home.

Happy Girl!
