Memorial Day Weekend in Moscow!

We had so much fun in Moscow this weekend visiting family and friends. We unfortunately didn't get a lot of pictures of all of the activity, but we did get a few cute ones of our nieces. One of the many highlights - a feast of ribeye steaks which I was really craving (I can always count on Mom and Dad to go all out for me!)

Can You Tell Yet?

These are pictures of me at 6 weeks vs. 17 weeks. Maybe I don't quite look pregnant yet, but my shape is definitely changing :)

6 Year Anniversary

Aaron and I will be heading to Moscow to visit family for Memorial Day weekend, so we decided to celebrate our 6 year anniversary a week early. We had a great night which included a delicious meal at Chandlers and a great performance by the Boise Philharmonic (Star Spangled Sousa). At dinner, the waiter asked me multiple times if I wanted wine, so I finally told him I was pregnant. At the end of dinner, he brought out our dessert (on the house) with one pink and one blue candle (for either a girl or a boy) to congratulate us.

30th Birthday!

The weekend before my 30th birthday, we went to Moscow to make our announcement to all of our family and friends who didn't know yet (Mom and Dad did a great job keeping the secret for a few weeks). When we got there, Aaron and my parents had planned a huge surprise birthday party for me. I was so shocked and then had a great time surprising them with our big news - it was such a great weekend!

We got to see the first picture of our baby on my 30th birthday! What a great gift! We're looking forward to another ultrasound on June 1st.

1st 4 Months of Pregnancy

We found out we were going to have a baby on Valentine's Day - how perfect!!! We are sooooo glad to be through the first trimester (we're actually just over 4 months now), as I was pretty pathetic for the first 3 months. My days consisted of trying to get through work while fighting the constant nausea and fatigue, coming home, taking a nap, trying to eat, then going to bed. Weekends were spent lying around and pouting to Aaron so he would feel sorry for me. He did such a great job taking care of me and fixing whatever food I felt like I could keep down.

The last month has been great! No nausea, more energy, and even a little exercise - Yay!

Welcome To Our Blog!

As you all know, we are expecting!!! We wanted to create this blog to keep you all up-to-date on the pregnancy and eventually on our little one's life as he/she grows. Enjoy!
