Weekend in Moscow

Aaron and I got to spend last weekend in Moscow visiting family and friends (that will be my last trip out of town before the baby arrives). We had a blast as always with our nieces Emilia, Ella, and Rose. They have all sorts of ideas about what the baby will look like and what he/she will say when she first arrives with the most common comment being "Hi mommy. I adore you!"

We almost had the whole family together. Benny and Sabrina were the only siblings missing. Hopefully we'll all be together for Christmas!

While in Moscow, Mom and Alli threw me a great baby shower. Got to visit with lots of friends and family and our little baby is going to look so adorable with all of his/her new gear :)

Check out this awesome diaper cake made by my mom. So creative and everything on it will be so useful. What a lucky little grandbaby!

7 Months Pregnant

I'm officially 7 months pregnant!!! Here's what the belly is looking like these days. As you can see, the baby is pretty high on my short torso, so I'm getting lots of pressure on my diaphragm and kicks in the ribs :) I've been feeling pretty well, but have really had to slow my activity level down to avoid too many braxton hicks contractions. I'm still hoping I'll be able to work right up until the delivery, but am starting to realize that we may have to change those plans. The baby is doing great and is extremely active. I love watching my belly get distorted as he/she moves about :)

Family

Aaron's brother, Jason, was visiting from San Diego last weekend with one of his boys, Matias (middle of the dog pile). Our nieces and nephews LOVE playing with their Uncle Aaron.
Here's our niece Sophie checking out Grandma Kathy's flowers.

Girls Weekend in Denver

I got to make a long weekend trip to Denver to meet up with 3 friends from high school. Angie and Liza live in the Denver area and Brita flew in from New Hampshire. We had such a great weekend catching up! Liza's 2 boys kept us entertained and gave Angie and I (who are both expecting) a taste of what motherhood will be like - can't wait!!!

In this picture are Liam, Angie, Brita, Davis, Liza, and Me

Aaron in Training

Here's Aaron returning from one of his training rides. He's planning to do the Bogus Basin Hill Climb on August 29th. I think he's crazy for choosing this race because it's a 16 mile uphill climb (and a steep one too!). And check out his sweet new bike. This was his special buy after receiving an unexpected bonus for being the World's Best Optometrist!
