Zoë Jane is 5 Months Old!

Zoë is making these photo shoots a little more difficult now that she's into grabbing and playing with the dog :) Some new things this month include: yelling - Zoë has found her loud voice (luckily it's not usually an unhappy yell), eating rice cereal (although she doesn't love it), drinking water (which she hates the taste of), jumping in her exersaucer, and putting EVERYTHING in her mouth (we may be seeing some teeth pop up soon)!!!

Photo Shoot

Here are some shots from Zoë's first photo shoot at 3 1/2 months old. She wasn't thrilled with the process, but she still gave us some good smiles :)

4 Month Appointment

Zoë had her 4 month appointment today. I was kind of hoping they would skip the shots since she's sick, but since she doesn't have a fever or an ear infection they went ahead and poked her - poor little girl. The doc says she's doing great and we can start trying cereal whenever we want to!

Here are her stats:
55th% for weight (13 pounds, 13 ounces)
50th% for height (24 1/2 inches)
90th% for head size (16 3/4 inches) - I knew she was smart :)

Road Trip!

Zoë and I got to go up to Moscow for a quick visit last weekend and we had a blast! Unfortunately Aaron wasn't able to take time off of work to join us, but hopefully he'll make the next trip. Zoë did great in the car and I was amazed that she stayed awake for almost the whole 6 hour drive on the way up. Lucky for me, she was very happy and entertained herself with a mirror that I set up, toys, music, and babbling. I forgot to take many pictures, but here are a few of the ones I did get.

One of my best friends since junior high, Deanne, and her new baby Riley. He's so tiny compared to Zoë!

We never seem to have enough time to spend with everyone on our short visits to Moscow, but we'll try to make another trip soon to see everyone we missed!
