7 Months Old!

Can you believe our baby is already 7 months old? We can't! She is so much fun and seems to change every day. She continues to be a very happy little girl. We're expecting she will be getting some teeth soon and will figure out how to crawl before long too!
Not only is she after the dog now, but she's trying to eat the sign too. I'm not sure how much longer we'll be able to use this set up for her photos :)

Trip to Portland!!!

Zoë and I had an awesome long weekend trip to Portland. That was her first time flying, which I was really nervous about, but it was SO EASY!!! Zoë was happy the entire flight there and back. She did seem to notice a little something going on with her ears on the way back because she was grabbing and rubbing them, but she was laughing and smiling at the same time, so they must not have been hurting.

Here are Uncle Benny and Zoë having fun at Benny and Sabrina's apt. Zoë LOVED Uncle Benny and would laugh and smile at him every time he came into her sight.
The weather was so nice while we were there, so we were able to go out for a stroll downtown with Benny and Sabrina.
These are 2 of my good friends and former co-workers (Maureen and Nicole) who we were able to spend a lot of time with. We all worked together at the same facility and really miss the great times we had working together as a rehab team.

Benny and Sabrina made it out to Nicole's for a BBQ and got to spend some more time with Zoë
Nicole and her boyfriend Nigel were brave enough to feed Zoë. I warned Nigel that he might end up with peas and bananas all over him, but amazingly he was perfectly clean at the end - I think they did a better job feeding her than I do :)Thanks so much for the great trip everyone - we miss you already!

Mother's Day

I had an awesome Mother's Day! Aaron knows how I love sweets, so he made me Swedish pancakes for breakfast and individual lava cakes as a treat (I ate one in the morning and in the evening). Zoë and Reggie put their allowances together and bought me a spa gift card which I can't wait to use!
We finally had some nice weather again and headed to the foothills for a great walk!
Aaron's parents had us over for a delicious dinner!
Zoë lounged around with Grandma Kathy,
hung out with her cousin Daphni,
and snuggled with Great Grandma Nancy.
Zoë's bath time is always fun for all of us. We work as a team with Mommy washing her body and Daddy washing (and styling) her hair. Zoë just relaxes and sucks on her washcloth.

Race For The Cure!

Zoë and I did the 5K walk for the Race for the Cure this weekend with some other new moms and their babies.
The race started almost 30 minutes late and the babies were getting bored.
Ready, get set, GO!

Whew! Riding a 5K is tiring!

Picky Eater???

Here are some shots from Zoë's first taste of green beans. She was not thrilled with the new texture (I've got some work to do on smoothing out the homemade baby food), but I think the taste didn't bother her too much. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she won't take after her daddy when it comes to eating her veggies!

"Why are you taking a picture of my right after I've been dry heaving?"
"Help Me!"

"I can't take it anymore!!!"
"Ok, I guess it's not so bad mixed with oatmeal."

Weekend Fun

Becky's cousins James and Alec had a soccer tournament in Boise this weekend, so we were lucky enough to get to spend some time with them, Aunt Sylvia, and Becky's mom. Zoë enjoyed being the center of attention and showed off her ability to stand, yell, smile, and sit up.
Hope you will all be back for another tournament soon!
