8 Months Old!

Can't believe our little baby is already 8 months old! She's getting so big and is learning new tricks every day!
Reggie generally likes the attention Zoë gives him as long as she's not grabbing his feet or his tail.

Zoë is quite a little observer and likes to study how everything works.

She is also full of lots of smiles!

Standing and rearranging coasters is one of her new favorite activities

Since Aaron works so close he usually comes home to hang out with us at lunch time, which Zoë loves!

Zoë went swimming for the first time in a big pool about a week ago. The water was a little chilly, but she didn't seem to mind at all - she has a lot of insulation :) We'll be spending a lot of time at Grandma and Grandpa Bronner's pool this summer !

Zoë is not crawling yet, but she does roll all over and scoots backwards on her hands and knees (which is how she ended up under our table).

If you look really closely you can see Zoë's first tooth popping through (on her lower right). Fortunately she hasn't seemed to be uncomfortable with the teething process so far. Hopefully she'll continue to be happy and sleep through the night as the others come in :)

Swimming!!!

We got a little mini pool for Zoë to play in this summer and since the weather has been so great we were able to test it out! She really liked it, although I was surprised that she didn't do much splashing. She spent most of the time drinking the water and trying to figure out how her toy cups were floating.
This next sequence was pretty funny and will give you an idea of how her mobility is coming along:
First she spots something she wants to check out,
then she decides she to go ahead and try to get it,
and then she is on her way out of the pool :)

The Latest

Zoë got to get all dressed up a couple weekends ago for our friends' wedding - Congratulations Dustin and Hillary!
Mom and Dad made it down for another great weekend! We had such nice weather and spent quite a few hours searching for treasures at our neighborhood's annual garage sale. It was crazy!!! We did find lots of good stuff though :)

Mom and Dad also babysat while Aaron and I attended a house warming party at Dr. Hollingshead's new house (that's the ophthalmologist Aaron works for). It was an India themed party, so here we are in our sari and turban!

Enjoying the beautiful Palouse with Dad

Since our wedding, Aaron and I have been craving our wedding cake - it was sooooo good! As a surprise for our 7th anniversary, my mom had a smaller version of the same cake made for us and it was just as good as we remember! Thanks so much Mom - you truly are THE BEST!

Hanging out with the Fountain cousins (Emilia, Rose, and Ella)
