Guess Who's 11 Months Old?

Zoë!

Zoë's not too fond of sitting in the chair for these pictures any more.
She also doesn't think we need the sign to show how old she is.Zoë continues to be the best baby ever! We are having so much fun watching her learn new things each day. She has recently learned how to click her tongue and took 2 steps by herself. She's also testing out what she can and can't bite and when I say "no biting" she responds by sticking her tongue out and blowing (as seen below).

Zoë has 3 Halloween costumes this year, but this one is a little snug, so she gets to wear it early. Isn't she the cutest giraffe you've ever seen?

Zoe looking very interested in whatever her cousin Daphni just found to eat.

The Dirty Dash!

Some friends and I participated in Boise's 1st annual Dirty Dash this morning and we had a blast! It was a 10K mud run/obstacle course which consisted of trying to run up steep hills, climbing over piles of hay bails, crawling through tunnels, running up yet another hill covered with tires, climbing over walls, diving down an enormous slip and slide, and crawling through a giant mud pit. Very fun and very dirty!

Dang! I just tried to upload a video of us trudging through the mud pit, but it doesn't look like it's going to work. I'm sure you can picture it though :)

A Visit from Brita!!!!

All summer I've been looking forward to this visit from my wonderful friend Brita! She came all the way from New Hampshire for the long weekend and we had such an awesome time catching up again. Zoë had a blast getting to know her godmother better and loved having her around.
Once again, I didn't take enough pictures, but here are a couple:

This is Brita and me at the top of Table Rock (one of the many hiking trails in the foothills). Some of our other activities included running (we're both training for a 1/2 marathon, so we got to do our training runs together), going to Art in the Park, eating yummy food, getting pedicures, going to a romantic comedy that neither of our husbands would have been caught dead seeing, playing with Zoë, going on a bike ride with Zoë and Aaron, and catching up with some other friends.

Here's a picture of Brita, Jolie (Michelle's baby), Michelle, Zoë, and me. Brita, Michelle and I have been good friends for many years starting back in Sunday School. It was really fun to spend time together again! We are all hoping that Brita and Jeremy will soon move westward so we can see them more often!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

We spent Labor Day weekend in Moscow and as usual forgot to take many pictures, but here are a few of the ones we got:

Zoë having fun bouncing with Great Grandma

Our friends Dannette and Levi drove up to Moscow from Lewiston to see us for a few hours. We were so glad to see them and to meet their new baby and see their cute little boy again! This is Zoë playing some music for Tanner :)

Showing off her cool new toy!

Demonstrating how well she can brush her teeth to Great Grandpa Ray.

Zoë LOVES her cousins and had such fun playing with and laughing with them. She also liked sticking her tongue out and spitting at them (shown below).
