Pig Tails!

It has been difficult to keep Zoë's hair out of her face because she'll immediately pull barrettes and ponytails out after admiring them in the mirror and saying "pretty." This is why she looks like such a little rug rat in a lot of our pictures :) Every once in a while I sneak a pony tail in and she won't notice until someone tells her how pretty her hair is. Then she reaches up to feel what they're talking about and rips out whatever is in there. Over the last week she has become MUCH better at leaving her hair alone. Each morning I let her stand on a step ladder in front of the bathroom mirror and do her own hair. She often gets distracted by the drawers which allows me to finish doing her hair while she empties them out. This is a picture of her with her 1st pig tails!

Summertime Continued!

Here are the rest of the photos I tried to download for the last post:

Zoë loves to look at pictures on Aaron's IPhone and get tickles on her back and tummy from Daddy. This is one of their special things as she never sits still with me when I try to do the same thing.

Aaron and my dad working on our cabin. When Zoë sees this picture she talks about Daddy's "Beak" and Papa crawling out of the hole. Then she talks about Papa sawing and that it was loud!

Zoë with cousins Sophie and Jack at our cabin.

1st s'more! Very sticky!

Zoë with her friend Jolie. They were so cute giving hugs and kisses to each other!

Summertime!

I've been having some trouble getting pictures to download onto the blog today, but here are a few I was able to complete. Hopefully I'll be able to get the rest up soon. These are all from a week we spent at our cabin.

Zoë loves spending time with her cousins Ella, Emilia, and Rose. Any time she sees a picture of someone upside-down (which she sees frequently in a couple of her books) she talks about them because they were having headstand and handstand contests while at the cabin :)

Grandma Andrea gave Zoë her 1st manicure and pedicure which Zoë LOVED! I could not believe how well she sat still considering how wiggly she is when I try to clip her nails. Nice work Mom!

Zoë is really starting to love water. Here she is practicing her kicking and making her way to Grandma Andrea.
