Liam is 8 Months Old!

  Our sweet boy is 8 months old today!  He is rocking on hands and knees, but can't quite coordinate crawling.  He loves to eat, watch Zoe and Reggie, eat, play piano, and eat!

Summer-like Weather!

 We had a tease of summer-like weather and took full advantage of it!

Trip to Oregon!

We FINALLY got to meet Sole and Palouse!  It was such an awesome trip and Zoë (and Liam) really loved meeting their new cousins!

While we were in Portland, we also got to see Benny's paintings at the Froelick Gallery.  They are so amazing and we're so glad we were able to see the whole collection on display!

 We also made a day trip to the coast and of course had to stop at the Tilamook Cheese Factory.

 

 

We were lucky to have beautiful, fairly warm weather at the coast.  Zoë LOVED her first visit to the ocean!

Happy Easter!

HAPPY EASTER!

 

We had such a great day that included:

 

opening Easter baskets,

 making delicious Swedish pancakes for breakfast,

 hunting for Easter eggs,

 opening the eggs to get the candy,

 trying to keep the candy away from Liam,

 a fun walk to the park,

 more egg hunting,

and enjoying the warm, sunny weather!

Bowling!

 Zoë and Liam's first trip to the bowling alley was for their cousin's (Sophie's) 5th birthday.  We all had a blast!

Liam was lulled to sleep by the sweet sounds of crashing pins and kids yelling.

Liam is 7 Months Old!

 Liam is more and more fun each day!  Some of his favorite things lately are eating (he's able to feed himself cheerios now!), watching Zoë and Reggie, standing, jumping in his doorway jumper, and chewing on anything he can get his hands on.  He has such a great laugh and smile and Zoë is now calling him "Leemum" instead of  "Leeman" (getting closer!).

Bath Time Fun!

 Now that Liam can sit so well, he's able to take a bath without his baby seat!  Zoë loves to help Liam with his baths by pouring water on his head.

Zoë's Surgery

 Zoë had a little bump show up on her cheek about 6 months ago.  After trying a couple of different treatments, we saw a pediatric plastic surgeon who recommended we have it removed.  We were very hesitant as she had to go under general anesthesia for the procedure, but decided it was the best thing to do.

We are so glad this is over with!  It went really smoothly and Zoë  seemed to feel completely normal within a few hours. 

Making Bird Feeders

 Zoë and I had fun making bird feeders out of pine cones, peanut butter and bird seed.  We hung a bunch out in the trees and Zoë checked them frequently.  It wasn't until the next day that she looked out one window and saw that they were all gone.  We went to the window on the other side of the house and caught this little guy red handed.  We were entertained by him for about half an hour while he finished off the last of our fun project.

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Fountain

 Grandma and Grandpa came for another great visit in March.  Zoë loved playing kick-the-can with Papa Stevie.  They also put Reggie's leash around the can so she could walk it and then she pushed it on the swing - what a great new friend!
