Projects

This spring has been full of projects (especially for Aaron).  His parents bought him some sort of saw for his birthday and he decided to test it out.  He started with a couple of 2 step step stools that turned out great!  The next thing I knew he was building raised planters for our garden.  He was just finishing those up when the kids and I went out of town.  While we were gone for the weekend he built a sandbox, a patio table and a shelf for Zoe's room in the shape of a Z.  Since he has completed a bench to go with the table!  I don't have pictures of all of his projects to post today, but here's Zoe painting her "Z" shelf.

The finished product!

The kids were "helping" me install a blackout shade.  I ran downstairs to get the drill and came back to find Liam standing on his night stand and Zoe in the window sill.  Such little rascals!

Thanks to Aaron, we had great raised beds for planting a garden this year.  We'll see what kind of luck we have.  We've planted tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, peas, radishes, lettuce, raspberries, blueberries, and we already had a strawberry patch.  We've already been enjoying the radishes and strawberries!

Trip to Moscow

We made a trip to Moscow to meet our new nephew, Micah, to celebrate my sister-in-law, Noel's, graduation, and to celebrate Mother's Day.  I didn't get any pictures of Noel or Mom, but here are some good ones of the kids.

We even got to go for a ride in Bikecar with Uncle Louie!

Zoe was so excited that we were in the same one as in the movie!  When we got home she got the movie out and still couldn't believe she got to ride in it!

The ride put Liam right to sleep

Our Entertainment

We definitely have a lot of entertainment around here!  Here are some pictures to prove it:

Bath time is always fun!

Liam practicing his reading while we put Zoe's new car seat together.

Zoe's always wanting to climb trees these days.  Notice the step stool she brought out from inside to help her reach.  Makes me nervous!!!

Slip-n-Slide!

Our bird friends in the tree right by our front door.  We've got the perfect perch to watch the process of the baby birds growing and being fed by their momma.

Zoe has a star chart and earns a star when she stays in bed at bed time and doesn't get up until her timed light comes on in the morning.  She got all of her stars and got to have a camp-out!  We're not quite ready for outdoor camping, so we started in our living room.  It was a blast!

Kelsey's Family Visits

Aaron's sister, Kelsey, and her family came for a short visit.  All of the cousins had so much fun together!

Liam and Luci

Aaron braved the hot tub with all of the girls!

Popsicles for Liam and Naomi

Action shot of Luci, Elli, and Zoë at the reigns!

Liam was worried about the fast running seen in the previous picture.  He didn't want anyone to get hurt and kept saying "Uh-oh!" over and over.

A Visit from Benny, Sabrina, Sole and Palouse

My brother, Benny, and his family came through on their way to Moscow.  We loved seeing them and playing with Sole and Palouse!

Liam is the big boy now!  He had fun showing the twins how to use the toys.

Palouse was very entertained by Zoë!

Hot Tubbing Fun!

The kids now LOVE the hot tub and would go in it every day if they could!  We'll be opening our pool soon and then they'll really have fun!

Grandma Andrea and Papa Steve Visit

My parents made it over for another great visit this last month.  Liam wasn't very good about posing for pictures, but I got some good ones of Zoë with Grandma and Grandpa.

Red Light, Green Light!

Bronner Visit

Aaron's parents came to visit us for an extended weekend in April.  We had a blast with them and the kids had so much fun showing them some of their favorite things to do.

Zoë loved doing an art project with Grandma and Grandpa!

Liam makes going out to eat a challenge, but we did venture out for 1 meal.

Liam's legs aren't long enough to pedal his bike or trike yet, but he likes to show how he can run them around like this.

Loving the snuggles!
