Zoë's Violin

Every time I play my violin Zoë begs me to let her play it.  I decided to keep an eye out for a tiny violin and came across one on our last trip to Moscow!  This is a 1/8th size and as it turns out it's a little too big.  She was so excited when I gave it to her and was actually able to play some pretty pleasant sounding notes right off the bat.  I'm not sure how much she'll want to keep up with it, but she seems to be a natural so I'm hoping her interest will continue!

Father's Day

Aaron requested a day at home for Father's Day.  We started with German pancakes, followed by a walk and playing at home.  Great day for a great dad!

More Entertainment!

The great thing about the Tri-Cities is it is on the way to many places, so we get lots of visitors en route to their final destination.  Our friends, the Halvorsons, were traveling through, so we got to spend some time with them and their little boy Henry!

10 Year Anniversary!

While we were in Portland we celebrated our 10 year anniversary!

 Now!

We got to celebrate with an awesome dinner at the Portland City Grill while my parents watched the kiddos!

Trip to Oregon!

We had an awesome 5 day vacation in Portland at the end of May.  We rented a house there and my parents joined us for the trip.  We got to reconnect with a lot of friends, visit my brother Benny's family, and explore!

Liam loved the cheese factory because he thought the blocks of cheese looked like a train!

He also loved the ice cream.  I bought a cone thinking I'd share with Liam and I didn't get one bite!

We spent about 5 minutes at the coast.  It was freezing!!!
