First Day of Preschool!

My sweet girl has started preschool!  I was nervous about taking her, but she was so excited that it made the whole process pretty easy. 

Liam was also excited about school, although he is always concerned when we drop Zoe off and is always anxious to pick her up at the end of each session.

Before starting preschool, Zoe was at her coloring table sounding out letter sounds.  She then brought this to me and excitedly said, "Mommy, look at this!  I can spell Liam!" 

Liam Turns 2!

Somehow my baby boy is already 2!  We had a great week of celebration with a party with friends in Richland and a party with family in Boise.  At 2, Liam LOVES trucks, tractors, basketball, t-ball, lawn mowers, and airplanes.  Whenever we're driving he asks, "Where's the basketball hoop?" over and over until he sees one and then says, "I see!  I see the basketball hoop!"

2 year stats:

Height = 34 1/2 inches (54th percentile)

Weight = 31.4 pounds (84th percentile)

Head Circumference 85th percentile

Trip to Boise

Aaron's company needed someone to fill in at their Boise clinic for a week, so Aaron happily volunteered.  We had so much fun staying with his parents and visiting friends and family throughout the week!

Liam's First Black Eye

Unfortunately, my sweet boy got his first black eye :(  We were in Boise and he was running through Grandma and Grandpa's house when he dodged Papa Pat and ran right into the corner of the kitchen table.  It was horrible and got big and purple within seconds!  I felt so bad!

The kids and I made a quick 1 day, 1 night trip to see Great Grandma Ella at her cabin on Coeur d'Alene Lake.  We had a blast and were so thankful to have some quality time with Great Grandma!

Visit from cousins

We were so happy to have Alli and her kids visit for a few days!  Unfortunately Louie had to stay home and work, but we sure had a blast with his family.  We spent lots of time in the pool and Zoe was thrilled to have 2 sleepovers in a row with her cousins!
